Mission & Vision

Our Mission is to Educate, Equip, and Empower individuals to live life well, liberated, and whole. Our vision is to Transform and Enrich lives with music, education, and friendship.

About Us

Every month our team has the opportunity to transform brokenness and despair into health and wholeness by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through music, artistic and creative expression, bible study, spiritual counseling, wellness initiatives, and workshops. We teach and serve anyone in need of our services, but we focus on persons who are homeless, disabled, elderly, and the youth. Our staff meets the needs of these persons right where they are from skilled nursing facilities, the streets of urban and rural neighborhoods, hospitals, homes, schools, parks, churches, etc. We serve all people, everywhere. Thank you for partnering with us to fulfill this divine assignment.

Our Impact

* In 2020-2021 we collaborated with other organizations to provide COVID relief services that included distributing food and making referrals and linkage to COVID Testing and Vaccine Sites. We also provided prayer calls to those who requested it.

* From 2015-to 2019, we served over 300 residents with our services locally and globally.

Here are some stories that capture our impact:

* "I was in a low place, and when you go from living on your own to relying on someone else to care for you for everything, just shy of feeding yourself, it can take you to a dark place. The A.P.G.O. team brought light back to my life. I looked forward to seeing them every month, with their beautiful inspirational songs and encouraging scriptures. They gave me a reason to love myself again and not give up on living life well." -Nancy.

* Barbara, a 65-year-old single woman, was a transplant from Maryland, living in a high-crime area and no transportation. A.P.G.O. helped her complete the necessary paperwork to receive discounted transportation and the local area agency on aging to support her other wellness needs. She also enjoyed the inspirational singing and bible teaching.

* Marlon is a 45-year-old homeless male that received wellness support services from A.P.G.O. As a result. We were instrumental in connecting him with a local homeless outreach center and social worker. We helped him get a state I.D. to apply for a job.
