Over ten years ago, before going to sleep, I casually asked my husband if he thought God would ever want us to be missionaries in Spain. His honest reply was "NO". God woke me up in the middle of that night and spoke the name of an island that I had never heard of, Mallorca!!!! It was a word that was loud and clear. That one word from God has impacted our lives and has proven over and over again to be a place that God is calling us to impact with the gospel. Mallorca Spain is a beautiful island with a population of over one million, and is often called the Island of a thousand faces. It is culturally diverse, chic, and spiritually in need of revival. Less than one percent of Spain's population claim to have a relationship with God. God is seen as a religion and religion there is dead. Around the Table is a ministry that seeks strategic ways to share Christ, through relationships, while modeling a lifestyle that invites Christ into everyday ordinary lives . This Island is ripe for a fresh move of God. There's a University of just under 20,000 students, numerous residents of all ages, and it’s a major vacation capital for much of Europe…and God has, for some reason only known to Him, spoken a word in the night to a woman in Tennessee, sharing His heart for a place that He wants to reach. Our job is to say "YES" to what He wants to do. This is indeed out of our comfort zone and takes laying down our agenda and taking up His.
