Marv Bowers, President & Founder

Marv and Evie served as missionaries with MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) for 17 years; Marv for 12 years as a mission pilot in Zaire (now DR Congo) and 5 years as MAF-USA’s Africa Projects Manager.

In 1986 Marv and Evie founded ILS (Information and Learning Systems) International. During the past 35 years ILS has had the privilege of designing MIS (Ministry Info Systems) for many of our leading international ministries including, World Vision International, Samaritan’s Purse, the JESUS Film Project, the Lausanne Movement, MAF and Wycliffe.

ILS’s current focus is on the Countries and Peoples of Sub Sahara Africa. Just as every specialist (surgeon, engineer, machinist and craftsman) has a set of physical tools, ILS specializes in designing and field testing low-cost digital tools for our Pioneers serving the least reached peoples and places of the world 🌎.
