A Cup of Cold Water Children's Foundation

Mission: To glorify and honor God by caring for orphans and the neediest of His children in East Africa with a focus on rural Uganda.

Uganda contains an estimated 3.5 million orphans, at least 1 million of whom have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS-related complications. A Cup of Cold Water is a community-based organization located in the village of Masada, near Mbale, a rural area about 140 miles from the capital Kampala. A Cup of Cold Water provides shelter, food, schooling and supplies, physical activity, creative outlets and most of all, love and concern for the children.

Founded by native Ugandans, A Cup of Cold Water is partnering with North Americans who wish to invest in the future of Uganda by pouring into and providing for its children. The USA branch President of A Cup of Cold Water is Mr. Ron Arnow, a co-founder of The Bless Israel Network, who has had long contacts with Ugandan Christians.

The spokesperson and media representative for A Cup of Cold Water is Dr. Lisa Christie, former Mrs. America 1997-1998.

-Scholastic Materials
-Food 7 days a week
-To purchase 5 acres of improved land for building a school and housing.

The Bible says in James 1:27 “Religion that is pure and undefiled before the Heavenly Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world”.

Jesus reminds us "Whoever gives one of these little ones even A Cup of Cold Water because he is my disciple, truly I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward." (Matthew 10:42)
