Solveig Leithaug (“Sole-vay Light-howg”) is a Dove award winning Norwegian born singer-songwriter living in Nashville. Solveig has released 17 albums in English and Norwegian since 1985. She tours internationally and a significant part of her ministry takes place in Scandinavia. Solveig’s platforms reaches from cathedrals to arenas, from prisons to televised performances, cafes to conferences, crossing denominational, generational and cultural divides. God’s call has placed her before heads of state and the intercity homeless, royalty and at-risk youth. Solveig, an ordained minister, has been an artist advocate for Compassion International since 2010. She serves as a founding board member for Compassion Norway and Compassion Sweden. A Gaither Homecoming artist, she is a contributing writer for Homecoming Magazine.
