Paul & Cathy McAndrew

Paul & Cathy have ministered together since 1989 as worship leaders and teachers. Their experience and training in biblical languages, linguistics, the ministry of reconciliation, and diverse musical expression has prepared them uniquely to help bring worship and the Word of God into the heart music of peoples of all nations. Their recent service includes: - leading IziBongo, a world-wide-worship ensemble - managing accounts & layout for the journal "EthnoDoxology" - serving on the planning committee for the "Global Consultation on Music & Missions" - launching "The Menorah Project" (Ps. 67 sung in 70 languages) - writing & recording scripture memory songs - leading worship at conferences/retreats - assisting at training sessions on various mission fields (Ghana, W Africa, Nov. 2002) - partnering with SIL International's Ethnomusicology and Arts Group.
Mission Statement
To encourage genuine, culturally relevant worship of Jesus Christ, a deeper love and knowledge of Him, and demonstration of His holiness, power and grace toward sinful men, through music and mentoring.
Ministry Objectives
- We plan to pursue this goal by specifically
encouraging ethnomusicologists, translators and musicians through
worship and teaching opportunities, a performance troupe, workshops and
various projects.
- We want to encourage the use of culturally
meaningful music to effectively communicate the gospel and lift praise
to Jesus, the King of Kings.
- Our focus is threefold:
1) to bring the Word and worship into the heart musics of peoples throughout the world,
2) to multiply the fruit of our ministry by cultivating skills and understanding in others,
3) to present a foretaste of this musical "glory of the nations" before the throne of God.
