Fred and Judie HeumannWhen it comes to reaching people, music works!
Since high school, Fred Heumann has planned and led worship services for 4 to 40,000 in places as varied as the Australian outback, Nairobi, Nashville, Los Angeles, and the UK, and on 5 continents, in multiple nations and at several global events. He has a life-long passion for people to encounter Christ through music and worship and for equipping and resourcing the Church.
He has been an itinerant music evangelist with WINGS OF LIGHT, worship pastor/leader for several churches, part of the leadership team of Youth for Christ International, a missionary in the UK, and developed digital and print worship resources for the Church. He teaches and works with churches and other ministries in worship renewal, offering training, teaching, and consulting in music, worship, and mission.
Fred, Joel and Judie
Fred holds the Master of Worship Studies degree from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, where he is also currently pursuing a Doctorate. He is using that currently in a special way in the strategic nation of Ukraine. He teaches twice yearly at the Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary, Kyiv (UETS), and works with their Music Ministry and Theology staff all during the year. Alongside UETS, he has pioneered MUSIC IN WORSHIP, a yearly national worship training event for church leaders and their worship teams, bringing in teachers from the Ukraine, USA, the United Kingdom, and Europe. He is also a global "Arts Catalyst" with the international Lausanne Movement (lausanne.org).
Your investment helps underwrite our primary ministry in Ukraine which includes teaching, coaching and mentoring at UETS as well as putting together teams to accompany us, helping resource the practical needs of that training program as well as coming alongside other churches and ministries involved in training leaders in worship. Future opportunities will allow us to help in other nations where these ministries are also working.
Thank you for your strategic investment--and, thank you for praying for us!
